"What happen when a person dies?"
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was; and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." Ecclesiates 12:7

The body turns to dust again, and the spirit goes back to God who gave to start with. The spirit of every person who dies-whether rightoues or wicked-returns to God at death.

What is the "spirit" that returns to God at death"?
The body without spirit {breath} is dead." James 2:26
"The spirit of God {breath of life} which God gave him is in my nostrils." Job 27:3

The spirit that returns to God at death is the breath of life. Nowhere in all of God's Holy Bible does the "spirit" have a life, wisdom, or feeling after a person dies. It is the breath of life and nothing more!

What is a soul?
"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the gound, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Genesis 2:7

A soul is a living being. A soul is always a comination of 2 things: body plus breath. A soul cannot exist unless body and breath are combined. God's word teaches that we are souls.

Do good people go to heaven when they die? Hmmm?
"ALL (EVERYONE) are in there graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth. "John 5: 28
"David is both dead and buried and his sepulchre is with us into this day. For David is NOT yet ascended into the heavens." Acts 2: 29: 34
"If I wait, the grave is mine house". Job 17:13

NO, people DO NOT go to heaven or hell at death. They go to their graves to await the resurrestion day. Remember the 2nd coming of Christ..and the graves shall burst open at the 2nd trump (2 Thess.4:16). That would be kinda of stupid don't ya think if the people are "quote in heaven" than put them back in there graves only to burst them open to resurrest them again! Duh? See, the devil is out to mislead all the people he can. Don't confuse what happens when you die. Just read the Bible and it will tell you. When you did...you rest in your graves"sleep"until the second coming of Christ for the rightoues.

One more thing...The dead no not anything to.
"The dead praise not the Lord". Pslam 115: 17
Also look in Ecc 9:5&6
Job 14:12
2 Peter 3:10
1 Thess 4:16 &17
1 Corinthians 15: 51:53
Luke 20:35 &36 for more study

I hope this helps..Good luck my friend! God Bless you!

When you die, all your good deeds that you have done in your life are added up. If the number of good deeds is greater then your bad deeds, then you go to heaven. If the number of good deeds is less then your bad deeds then you go to hell. For those who don't have a religion, when you die, you simply enter a dream that you cannot escape/wake out of.

You decay.

What happens to a piece of meat that is left out in the warm too long. It rots and decays and even worms form in it.

We are after just another animal.
