I graduated w/ a BA in Psychology. Ever since then, I've been on the job search for several months now. I have accepted certain jobs, but did not enjoy to stay. Lately, I've been temping around to see what I like. My qualifications are mainly in administrative/clerical, banking, & logistics. I've been thinkin' bout getting my Master Degree in counseling, as I may enjoy being an Academic Counselor at a jr. college or state or UC. Any advice?

do both. Jobs will look at you more seriously because you have experience and a master's degree.

Since you did not enjoy staying in your jobs, it might be that what's bugging your mind is that you want to get your Master Degree. Well go ahead with your masteral. Maybe after you get what you want, then you will become more serious with your work. Besides, having a Masteral Degree will enhance your qualifications and knowledge and will give you a higher position in your field that you would choose. Good luck!

Well I guess the best suggestion would be to do both as I think juggling school and work is a learning experience in itself. If you are not finding jobs you enjoy in your area you can also consider moving to another area (if that is an option).

Well I think you should just go for what you want since you don't enjoy the field that you are qualified for.

i got sick of working for others and started my own business... after years of this job and that job, i realized if you don't love what you do, then you will never be successful... just do what it is you love to do, and you'll be happy
