Just be thankful my dad didn't read this article. It would've ticked him off so bad, he probably would've busted the monitor.
We live in San Diego, which is crawling with illegal immigrants. Makes me want to change career ideas and join the Border Patrol....sorta.
Hey, if you live here, work here, breathe the air here, SPEAK ENGLISH! I don't have a problem with people speaking another language among their friends/family, etc. But when you're dealing with the public, you need to know the language.
If I decided to pack up my bags and move to Germany right now, I'd have to "lerne Deutsch." There would be no accomodations for me. The only accomodations Germany has for foreigners are for tourists who visit the country regularly.
