i agree completely with all the other suggestions made here. let me just add this:

computer-based voice recognition software that will enable them to transact business online or communicate with others without relying too much on their home computers' keyboard/mouse interface.

this also suggests that all business establishments with online capabilities should, likewise, be persuaded to enhance their web-based services specifically to address the peculiar needs of those less-abled: the elderly, those with motor disabilities, those with aversion to or daunted by the intricacies / complexities of computer technology.
