it would depend on where you are located, but you could check with your local music store. They would be the most likely place to find out that information.

Yes I would have to agree in our area freecycle.org usually has pianos for free about 2 to 3 a week on the avg. I actually seen a few that were pretty nice in the pic ads. Mainly because it cost so much to move them that people dont want to mess with it or in their kindness of hearts want to see someone else have the enjoyment that they may bring by less fortunate others.

the florida keys? ok. bad joke. sorry.

not an easy task...not many people give up pianos for free. might be able to get one cheap at a moving or estate sale, or get one donated if it is for a charitable cause.

I have a baby grand free for the taking. (Seriously!) I like my electronic full-size keyboard and awesome headphones much better. You pay the moving fees. Sure hope you just live across town.

put an ad in your local newspaper asking for one, you'd be suprised how many people hate the old things, as they are extremely heavy, include in the ad, you will do the transporting..why don't you get a key board? btw, do you have any clue how heavy they are?

Look in your local want ads. People tend to give the older ones away because they are so heavy!

Well, since you asked twice, maybe three times will be a charm. If not try this http://www.freecycle.org/
