Breed profiling = racial profiling

Those who say pit bulls are dangerous and untrustworthy are guilty of breed profiling.

I have several non-smoking friends that chose not to drive AND love my two pit bulls.

My two pit bulls are kissed each night, on their noses, by my eleven year old daughter. They love my daughter. They also know their place in our family, as dogs, pets. They play with my daughter better than my mothers three jack russells. Oh yeah, one of my mothers jacks bit me on Easter!

My pit's name is Bruno. He's a VERY LARGE, VERY spoiled BABY. He thinks he weighs 10 pounds, and LOVES Jacob, (my 3 year old grandson) Pit bulls are not fighters by nature, they are actually very smart, very loving breed. The American Kennel can vouch for that.

I was, however attacked by a Pomeranian, (with needles for teeth), and if I had pushed the issue, could have owned her house, and be driving her car.......
Oh, and my (white) daughter married a gorgeous (black) man, and has had 2 GORGEOUS children.....

I have to disagree, "breed profiling" as you call it for pit bulls is reasonable and understandable. Noone forces me to smoke and I don't. Cars are a necessary evil for us to all get around in we can't choose to not drive, but the car is an inanimate object which I control so if I crash, I am the one responsible. Pit bulls on the other hand have a proven record of unpredictability and the power to do serious damage to anything smaller or weaker than it is. I am a strong full grown man so I feel ok about dealing with a pit bull attack. However, if one of my children or my wife were attacked by one of these monsters (honestly what chance does a 4 year old have against a pit bull?) the dog would only be the first to die. There are so many breeds of dogs out there why take the chance of crippling/disfiguring/killing an innocent child simply to own one? Just choose another breed of dog.

By the way, I love dogs, I own two and they are great but I will not own nor tolerate one to be around my kids.

via fact racial profiling can't immediately characterize possibly reason, i've got faith that that's an faulty tool of amassing archives - to anticipate that a individual is greater possibly to commit against the regulation via fact of cultural or ethnic changes seems to hazard any information got here upon to being subject to dismissal by way of racial bias; real information should not be trumped by way of frightened assumption whilst the certainty continues to be the spirit of the regulation...

I ♥ pitbulls there some of the sweetest doggies and the most loyal! I don't believe in racial profiling besides that there's so many mixed races these days it would be near imposible. what pisses me off is when my son has to mark a box it says (African-American Non-Hispanic) or Hispanic, well he's both my husband is African american and I'm hispanic that makes him both but accroding to the census he can only claim hispanic. Ignorant isn't it lol

everything is a calculated risk, but I would not be willing to risk the safety of those that I love, or strangers either for that matter, to own a dog that has such a bad reputation. I'm not saying that every pit bull is going to attack someone, but that the risk is not one that I would be willing to take. If that is something that you choose to do, then all the more power to you, but with all the bad media hype out there when one does attack, you have to be ready for a less than enthusiastic welcome of your pet.

Having to register your pet as a lethal weapon!!! That is so ridiculous. I think they should put rapists away like they do pitbulls. I wish I could live in a rapist free state. People make pitbulls mean (when they are mean) so why is the dog punished???? Could we please stop ignorant humans from breeding?

It's wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
Animal, human...doesn't matter...it's wrong.
I have friends of all ages, races, religions and
I've had dogs, who were wrongly considered "bad".
Any kind of profiling is wrong.

so than I am, take a look at some stories where put bills have ripped scalps off children and old people, when they attack your *** is grass. IF you own one you should have to register as a deadly weapon and if it attacks you will be tried
have a great day
