I'm not a Mets fan but I wish they would have kicked the crap out of the cards. How many people will really watch a cards and tigers series? how many people think this is a nightmare for the network that carries the series? I'd rather watch nascar or golf than watch those 2 teams play.

The Tigers deserve to be in the series. They should be playing against a much better team. The cards would have finished in 9th place in the AL. I'd rather eat a poop sandwich than watch them play for the title.

This could be a great series. While I agree with you that the Tigers should sweep the Cardinals, the Cardinals should have been swept by New York in the NLCS. It could be a good series. I think the Tigers will draw interest because of their turnaround since the record tying losing 2003 season.

I'm pulling for the Tigers, they're my team. I like St. Louis because they have loyal fans also. That's what this game is about. If these teams didn't have a great fan base, where would they be? It's a great match because of the energy and enthusiasm of the fans!

I could care less what the networks think.
I just know that it is great for baseball when 2 great baseball cities play for The World Series.
I am sure the great fans in St Louis & Detroit will watch, and both will be cheering for thier teams to win.
