If you have beautiful nails why would you cover it with black nail polish and hide them from the people?
If the celebrities are doing something it doesn't mean you have to do it. If the celebrity is going to take the drugs, are you going to do the same in order to be different?

I like to eat black polish it tastes nice. But wearing it no way that is just silly.

well black nail polish is well known to cover up the nail beds that look really gross from eating disorders and their nails look really bad other than that go with something else than black ...there are a zillion colors to wear.....:)

They wear more of a dark dark chocolate or a maroon. Black is tacky no matter who wears it.

I just finished applying a vampy 'black cherry' color to my nails, it's been all the rage with celebrities as you mentioned and I think it looks dead sexy. I like to trim my nails before applying dark colors, I dunno, longish nails colored vampy/black looks a little too costumey.
