There is a mountain of evidence to support the theory and debunkers such as NIST and Popular Mechanics do not answer the questions. There are literally dozens of proven inconsistencies in those reports. Just listen to a debate w/ pop mech and you will see how ridiculous they sound. Is anyone who has done the reseach denying this? All of your questions can easily be found if you take some time and do the research.

Scarlett, you need to do some research on the BIG Lie theory. Please do the research, it will blow your mind. I encourage you to look at both sides of the story.

tamlaid, this does not have anything to do with being a liberal. If you did any type of research on the issue you would know this. I am actually more conservative myself

I have to be honest with you, I would not at all be surprised if all of a sudden I were presented with unrefutable evidence that what you say -inside job- is true. Hpwever, I simply fail at completely grasping two things, as follow: WHO is benefited by such an abrupt socioeconomical -and thus cultural- change, and, furthermore, HOW this benefits whomever it may be. I mean, if you wanted to invade Iraq, as some folks say, I am sure it could have been done without murdering Americans on American soil, so that's out of the question; further sustenance of this reasoning of mine (and several other people, of course) would be the fact that the first Gulf War -the one Bush's daddy was involved in.... ever think about that, by the way....?- had an even flimsier pretext, supposedly defending a tiny little country no one even cared much about. And that, ladies and gentleman, brings us to the subject of oil. Did you know that France, of all countries, has greater economic intrest in oil than the US....? They have invested more and have more assets in Iraq than the States, as unbelievable as it may sound, but they aren't really waging all out war on the Middle East, now are they...? So, as as I say, WHY?????? WHY would the US go about something as gruesome as what happened in NYC and DC?????

Again, I'd like to repeat that I would not be surprised if undeniably clear evidencewas put before me proving yr suspicions of an inside job. However, I simply do not see the use of doing something like that.

I agree.Disinformation by ANY govt is as old as the hills.Does anyone remember the Maddox incident from the Vietnam war?How about the reichstag fire in Germany?
The popular mechanics article is so brief as to be almost meaningless.I cant believe that this is the holy grail to those who believe the officail stories.
I read the 9/11 commission report and the "new pearl harbour ' by Griffin.I t took me months to read them both and compare them. The 9/11 report totally ignores some very damning points and is outright glossing over or even lying in some aspects. The number of gag orders alone that were placed after 9/11 should be an indication that there is something to hide. The new york times collected the testimony of over 500 eyewitnesses and they were all gagged. The NEW yORK SUPREME court overturned these orders last August and alot of these people have stepped forward.Including fire captains etc

Yes, the US sent Arabs to hi-jack planes, designate their targets, and send Bush very far from the fray. GW orchestrated this whole thing! It was pinpoint timing. Bush is so smart, that he carried it off, and still does so today!

Geez, I've seen idiots on this site, but you take the prize! Osama bin Laden, claimed the responsibility for the event, and Al-Quieda wreaks evidence that they carried it out.

They now live in holes, thanks to the US response. If you had one shred of evidence that GW planned the attack on 9/11, the liberal media would have been all over it.

Forget you hate of GW, and join us in the real world! Your alternate reality, just doesn't pass the muster in the real world. Wake up, and smell the coffee!

unfreaking believable......you conspiracy theorists kill me.....you have no problem wrapping your twisted little minds around the notion that your own country killed your brothers and sisters, but you can not grasp the concept that perhaps terrorists did this evil, horrific deed. WOW!

At the very least, it would have taken dozens of people to pull off this "the U.S. Government did it" plot, more likely hundreds....and yet oddly enough, in a plan that would have had to have spanned 2 presidencies, not a single person involved has come forth. Not one person. No one. A plan involving perhaps hundreds of people and not one of them had a pang of conscience. No one was overcome with the grief of having killed 3000 + innocents. No one has slipped up and said something they shouldn't have that would tip us off. Amazing.

Get a new hobby.

For one thing I live less than 20 miles from the Pentagon and know people that work there. I also know a couple of people who were close to the WTC that day.
Besides how do we know that those conspiracy theorists are not the real conspirators? How do we know that their aim isn’t to cause the people to lose faith in their government so that they may attain their nefarious goals?
Also if the US government was going to go through all that trouble to conspire to create 9-11 don’t you think that it would have also been a good idea to plant some WMDs in Iraq?

I believe 9/11 was an inside job! Come on, how would anyone know anything unless you have insiders?! Even the stock market has insiders! Not so long ago, we were warned of this upcoming event and the so called 'HEADS' of everything swept the warning under the rug! I've lost 3 relatives due to this 'Lost Warning'!

That is akin to asking why it is so hard for people to understand that the world is flat. Makes about as much sense.

Check around and see if you might be able to buy yourself some semblance of common sense.

It's not hard to believe. I think the government is capable of some CRAZY stuff. I think some of the movies that talk about it being an inside job aren't so reliable. But I do think those movies bring up some GOOD points.

It's hard to believe, for most people, because it is just so HEINOUS.
It's hard to believe that a lot of people voted for Bush for $200 in tax rebates, and then all this happened.
