We support a man that most of the country hates. If we really couldn't think for ourselves then we would just start hating him like everyone else. So why do people say that?

Oops suppost to be a "for" in between think and themselves. Thought I would correct it because we have a lot of grammar nuts on YA that like to correct everyone's mistakes for them.

Republicans are known to be the political thinkers. Liberals use feelings. Of course they are feeling things they shouldn't but that doesn't matter.

if you are a republican and show signs of thinking for yourself, I believe they have you neutered....if that doesn't work they just put you down.

You made your own case right there...you support a man most people in the country (world) hate. I think it's that fear card the GOP is so fond of using, I guess it works internally too.

I think if you all stopped (and by "you all" I am speaking in sweeping generalities - I know plenty of republicans that don't fall into this category)...anyway, if you all stopped spouting the same sad old rhetoric over and over like a broken record - or a collection of records. One stops working, you all put your heads together and decide to use side B...when that stops working, you switch to another record....then another then when you run thru the whole collection, you start again at the beginning....which is where we seem to be now - with that whole fear agenda from the 04 elections. I don't understand why people are so afraid to speak out against things that are wrong (I mean, other than the fear of career suicide). And honestly, I don't think all republicans like this prez....they just don't vocalize it....for reasons stated above.

Most of the country does not hate Bush. The elections (yes they were legitimate) proved that. You have to take what you hear on the "news" with a grain of salt.
