Well, in my local malls there are Indian places in the Food Court. It's not "fast food" like a BK or Taco Bell, etc. But it is fast food similar to anything else you'd find in a food court versus a sit down establishment, and they've all been there for years and seem to do well. I don't usually go there, but there's often a good amount of people, etc. So, yes it would stand to reason it could do well. However, this will greatly depend on your location and if people are interested in trying different types of food.

Depends on where you are. A college town would be optimal, or the suburb of a larger city. WHile you could do well in a smaller town, it may be tougher since it would be harder to find the ingrediants and take longer to build up a clientle if they were mostly unfamiliar with the food. That being said...I live in the DC area and there is always room for one more Indian resteraunt and the drive through would kick ***!

Yes. but its gotta be fun with tasty, different but recognizable foods and low prices. A few items on the menu for the timid and a few for the adventurous eater. Americans love fast food and people are ready for a new tasty choice. Oh a drive thru is must ! Well known fact most fast food customers love drive thru !

there is truly some low priced places in Little India (close to 40 9th and significant in Vancouver). also much alongside 96th Ave in Surrey. In Richmond, try 'Tandoori Kona" on Cambie street at #5 street. They run a lunch particular for roughly 7 money it truly is awesome.

It depends on a lot of things. Fast food restaurants have certain equipment that cooks the food fast...like McDonald's has their grills set so it can cook the burgers in less than a minute. Cooked food cannot be held for more than 2 hours so you have to figure in waste, profitability, food safety, etc.

I love Indian food. If you could make a fast food style place, that would be interesting.

No, but why? Because u can't serve chiken butter or chiken tikka *** a take out, it should be a very big resturant serving everything not as fast food.

That would be really nice. I'd definitely try it out. As long as the food is always hot and tastes fresh.
