Veerabhad, I would like to thank you for telling ME to struggle to attain knowledge, when all you did was copy and paste from wikipedia.
I appreciate the struggle you put into your research to answer my question- looking at the list of sites I already have and repeating the information from them is much more than I could have asked for.

Emile Durkheim is considered by many to be the father of sociology. He is credited with making sociology a science, and having made it part of the French academic curriculum as "Science Sociale". i had several courses studying him....but i remember little...

i think he came up with something like mechanical and solidarity society or something
he's the father of function society
that everything in soceity works like a function....everyone performs a role thus keep the society together
like the parts of a machine
