Aloe Vera, but from the plant not the stuff in the bottle if possible. Just clip off a piece and squeeze some goo onto the burn. Don't pick at it or wash it. If the burn is already open then its time to visit the doctor. Regular butter is also a good home remedy.

I had a pretty bad burn on my back where my wife was trying to bring a boil out by using the super hot bottle vacuum technique. We were talking and didn't realize that a golf ball size hunk of flesh had squeezed up in the bottle. I slowly turned to bottle to get it off, but the golf ball was still there and turning black. It looked God awful.

Anyway we went to the doctor and since everything was sealed were advised to put nothing on it, not to even touch it. About a week later it broke open and healed within days. The aloe vera only seems to work if you apply directly after the burn so if this happened yesterday, don't touch it all and try to keep it from getting wet in the shower. Your body is already healing it. But if you have diabetes or any condition that prevents quick healing see a doctor. If its not that severe then just look after it and it should heal in 7-10 days.

Some signs to watch out for are fever and chills, or pain in the area of the burn long after.

hi there. there are 3 kinds of burns: first degree, burns which cause no blistering. second degree, burns with blister. third degree, deep burns detroying the skin and tissue.. is it important that u run cold water immediately after being burned to the affected area, as this will help decrease the temperature in that area and will avoid dehydration of the affected tissue. on light burns, run it with cold water and apply aloe vera gel, to help healing. it doesnt require farther treatment. for burns with blister, be caeful not to break the blister so that it wont get infected. if it burst, wash area with cold distilled or boiled water, then apply aloe vera, then cover area with sterilized gauze. if wound gets infected, take bee propolis tablets and/or garlic capsules as antibitotic. for deep burns, same wash it with cold distilled or boiled water, leav affected area in water for abt 10 minutes, then rub aloe vera gelatin then cover wound with clothe or gauze soaked in aloe vera. consult physician immediately. taking omega 3 supplements and olive oil will help, vits A, B, E, C, D. in large area burns drink lots of water to avoid dehydration. preferably prepare this, 1/2 tablespoon salt,1 tablespoon sugar or honey and 1/2 tablespoon of soda in one quart of water.

it depends on how bad the burn is..NEVER pour cold water on it..it will only make it worse..you will want to keep it at a warm temperature..b/c as soon as it cools down, the slightest bit of heat will make it burn again..I have burned myself so many times(chef) and pouring cold water on it is the worst..or ice at that..try some aloe..just keep it warm

Cool it down with ice water. If it is a large area, go to the doctor. If the skin is broken & it is small, be sure to wash it thoroughly with mild soap & water & put anti-biotic ointment and a bandage on it.

Milk is one item...cold water first then poor milk on the arm....also sunburn spray will help cool it off...aloe vera stuff may help..all these items help...but it will have to run its course re: healing...if it is really bad go to the urgent care...it is much cheaper than the hospital where you would have to wait anywhere from one hour to two...i hope i have helped...
