I am a scorpio female married to a leo. If he is saying "no" because you live to far apart. Then you need to take him at his word. I would, like I did with my husband use reverse psychology. I would not answer his calls and I would be busy looking and dating someone else, and I would date someone else. Since you are friends when you finally pick up the phone in 6 months you can tell him how busy you've been and that you've met someone. You will right away know his true feelings. If he must see you right away and gets jealous you'll know. It is the truest statement "absence makes the heart grow fonder". If it doesn't then move on.

Well, I'm a leo woman - let me think how I like to be treated:
Definitely I like to be admired and praised (when it's truthful). Many times I like to be the centre of attention, but sometimes I like to be at the back.
I am very good in front of a group, so it would be good to encourage a leo man to do that I think.
Leo people are very loyal and creative, so look for those characteristics and validate them out loud to your man.
Good luck, and roarrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Play to his ego, but not to obvious we leos are naturaly suspicous. I have always heard the way to a mans heart is through his stomach, so find out what food he likes best and bone up on your cooking skills. Go online and get recipes from food tv.com and watch cooking shows like emeril. Last but not least be passionate, we leos are!

Be yourself. Take an interest in him. Ask him about his interests. Have you been out? Invite him for Saturday lunch out somewhere for a couple of hours so you can get to know each other. Make plans for after the lunch so that you're not tempted to turn lunch into a marathon.
Then see if he reciprocates. Does he show an interest in your interests or suggest another meeting?
