people a question?

Because that is what the majority of polls do. They only have to ask over 1000 people for it to be a ligitimate poll. I believe the latest poll asked 1007 people.

1000 people divided by 300 million.

All polls were found to be skewed in the democrats favor, example, in 2004 almost every poll showed Kerry sweeping the election only to find out that Kerry was no where near winning. As in the current polls (I was polled and found the bias quickly), the polls ask all questions in a way that make it hard to accept the GOP as a viable option when in reallity it is the only option. So if you are into polls, remember, polls are 100% inaccurate.

polls are relatively accurate inside the margin of error usually...

ever had a stats class... it's pretty interesting stuff...

now you can clearly argue with how they got the results (questions they asked, time they asked, where they asked, ect.)... but they are accurate... to what questions are asked and the situation they are asked...

great_ame... you may want to click on the link above your comment to see how wrong you are... hahhaha...maybe you should learn that there are other polls besides the ones on Fox?

and as you can see... they were pretty REALLY accurate...

Well, first of all the 300 million number is about residents, not citizens. The other thing is that not all citizens are allowed to or willing to vote.

If you asked people from all regions of the country and conducted the poll scientifically your accuracy would be about +/- 3%.

Never has one poll indicated a majority of support for Bush.
You forgot to mention that.
And yes, we do love our polls.

If they really wanted us to believe there was scientific validity, they might provide more information about the sampling, the variables controlled for, and maybe the questions themselves...
