Too bad you didn't ask this question before you painted, you put a teaspoon of vanilla in the paint and mix it in before you paint.

Well it will take time, 3 or 4 days at least!! If u wanna get rid of it quickly try barbecue inside or beside the room with windows slight open. Smokes coming from roasted meat and melting fat has a strong effect too. It will land on chemicals acting as a coat. Ive tried it and it takes at least 24 hours till the smell of barbecue fades away. The smell of painting will disappear or at least it wont be that strong.

Open all doors and windows and let the fresh air come in. Spray some lavender airspray and wait for the paint smell to go away.

I actually have to say its the "fresh air" is the only thing.

I am currently painting as well and I must have the fan on to move out the air...yet its going to be 4 layers of paint with the stain blockers...so I can relate big fellow!

Fans, fabreeze, oust.

If it is latex paint, open some windows, and in a day or so after the paint dries the smell will go away.

Open the windows and air the room out.

You just need to open a window and let it air out. It's really the only way.

Keep the fan going and the windows open. By now the smell
should be gone though. Is it real hot where you live?

The smell will go away soon enough and then you are back to the bedroom smell again
