When I bought my granddaughter a razor scooter that she had been wanting, I took her outside to try and show her the safe way for her to ride it and under no circumstances was she to attempt any tricky things (she was 6), and that she should wait until she was as good as I was before attempting to ride it fast.....Anyway, as I was showing her how to avoid the driveway downslant so as not to fall, I said "now this is how to do it the right way" and did a complete flip off the scooter and ended up falling in the street with scrapes and cuts all over me...I not only felt dumb but she has never asked me to show her how to do anything since.....
