I enjoy my freedom and liviing alone and going to school. Based on what I've seen with most couples anyway I dont need the added stress to shorten my life. Most ppl make assumptions that us single ppl are unable to have a relationship...but we choose not to, is there anything wrong with that I mean I get enough love from my family. Do ppl that always look for relationships just trying to fill a void in their lives or something...I just never felt like I needed it but what do you all think?

My sister has been single her whole life, (all 35 years) and has no intention of living with someone else. She is perfectly happy with her friends, family and her life and I applaude her for it. Remember, at the end of the day, it is you you go home to, and it is your life.

Everything isn't for everybody. That's what make us such a great country, freedom of choice.
Some people enjoy the single life, such as yourself. Whereas some people enjoy the married life, that doesn't mean they are trying to fill a void, that's just what they want.
Enjoy your life as you want, and don't worry what people think. If it's not this, it will be something else.

Are you looking for validation here? Life is full of personal choices so make the choices that suit you and live peacefully with those choices. If you want to remain single have fun doing it because no one else has the right to tell you what is best for you. Don't be concerned with the pressures of society - just be happy and I wish you the very best.

I hear ya. I was one of those college kids not too long ago in a long-term committed relationship. While it was great being in love and all, I love being single even more! People who are in love and in committed relationships are blinded because they think it is the only way to live happily, and want others (i.e. single people) to experience the wonders and joys of being in love. Being single and being in a relationship both have their pros and cons so eh, enjoy whichever you prefer!

I think if you like being single, you are a GREAT person.
If you possibly can, leave women alone. Read all the other stories on here and you'll understand why.
Women lie, cheat, play you, cry to get their way, and reach for your wallet while you're kissing her.
Women are horrible creatures for men. But men aren't smart enough often enough to learn their lesson.
Be who you are. I'm proud of you.
Yes, I'm a woman, and that's why I can tell you what they're REALLY like.

There is NOTHING wrong with you. You are doing great! You are doing what you need to do for YOU. Believe me, that was where I once was. When you finally get to a place where you want a relationship, you will find someone.

It is when we think we are complete that we are able to find someone to prove us wrong. Beware :-p
