Detroit in 5. They had time to line up their rotation with the wait and I do not see any NL team pulling this off. AL is superior in every aspect of the game.

I don't think the Cards got lucky; I think they outplayed the Mets. And since I'm writing this after Game 1 of the World Series, I know that the Tigers will not be sweeping the Cardinals.

Go Cards!!!

Yes, I agree with you, they were very lucky. Any time a team that wins 83 games is in the World Series, there has to be some luck involved. They had three 8-game losing streaks, pitching wasn't good, and hitting was average, they should be thankful that the National League stinks. It just proves that with all the levels of playoffs today, you don't have to be the best team, but just one that plays the best for a few games. Detroit will annihilate them, no contest.

I dont think Detroit will sweep.

I think it will go 6 games.

Never under estimate Tony Larussa. He has his team playing ball the right way, as Leyland does his team.

The Tigers are well rested, but The Cardinals are geeked and ready to go.

The Cards have hung in there, so I wouldn't dismiss them as easy. That is why they play the games.
