My friend doesn't want me to go out with that guy because he was mean to her at school. Not like hit her push her and stuff but like making fun of her. My other friends tell me to say yes but.... i dont know what to do!!! I didn't say anything yet..... Im nice to everybody at my school. I was probably extra nice to that guy. But i dont know!!!

It is not fair of your friend to retaliate on that guy by using you.
If you like the guy, go out with him. If your friend asks for explanations, politely explain it to her to sort things out with the guy herself. You might even suggest to help them talk to each other.

if someone is good to you and not good to others --its their problem.if good to you and you feel comfortable and trustworthy for that person go for it . be nice to everyone but don't be extra good as you have mentioned unless you know the opposite person really well Have fun dear friend and enjoy without doubts.
