what does perspective mean in terms of art???

it means the angle at which you are looking at the image and focusing on what size they are etc.. For example if you draw someone at the top of a hill and someone at the bootom of the hill the person at the top would appear smaller to the person at the bottom (That is if you are drawing from the botttom of the hill perspective) It is a technique used to give drawings a more 3dish life like effect since you are drawing on a flat subtance.. also take special note of shading to when you are drawing a picture this way.. in simple terms.. things that are closer to you will generally be bigger and have less shading than images that are further away..

One could refer to the perspective through which one views art related to current values and mores. Then there is visual perspective as one subject's relation to another within the art itself.
