I am a Civil Engineering major and I was just wondering if I should put my website on my resume'.

It is a strong liberal website. Would this hurt my chances of getting a job if i put this on my resume', or could this help in getting me a job?

Politics strongly divide the nation. We saw that with the last presidential election.

It could work for you 50% of the time and it could work against you 50% of the time. I would avoid using it because it could be a deciding factor against you in some cases. While this technically shouldn't be something that counts against you, when a recruiter is looking at 5 candidates that are all appear strong, he must use some criteria for selection and dismissal. If they have a strong bias against your political views, this could be used as a deciding factor.

I'd leave it off so that it doesn't hurt you.

Any strategy you can use to show that you have acquired knowledge in a high capacity that will go beyond their requirements is a step in the right direction.
