My last question wasnt - can you make some one straight ? and it wasnt can you make some one thats straight be gay and not like the opposite sex.
This question does not ask about making someone not like what they were born to like.
The question is could you teach a child from birth to be bisexual ? Not that they would have to be 50/50 but at least a 10/90 ratio ? To also like sex with the same gender ?

I guess it's possible, from a pyschological view. I did have one friend that did that. He used to like girls a lots, but one day had an experience with some boy, and became bi. So yes, it is possible, but not very common.

it is something you can do
but once the child is able to comprehend the world around them they would question what there true feelings are
i believe we are all bi and we chose to be gay or straight well at least the man are
so i think if you taught a child to act like a homosexual they will act it and some day question it
i am transgender
so i am trying to work out why
many people think that my mother or someone else in the family might have done some thing to make me feel like a girl
making me believe i am one over time
i can not rule this out as i don't care how
i got this way i just want to fix it
i think all of this sort of talk
is a very dangerous talk
people out there do things to kids
we as humans can not let happen
weather or not we teach the child to be bi gay or straight the child will only do as they please once they are at an age to think for them selves
w can only sit back and hope those chooses are the most educated

First, why would you want to? Second, Kinsey believed that the vast majority of people were born with some degree of bi-sexuality. All you can really do is teach a child to be accepting of what he or she is, and not feel guilty about it. If a person has a clear receptivity both ways, even if there is a preference one way or the other, as there normally is, a person who wasn't taught that one or the other was preferable would be more likely to explore both sides of their sexuality. If one sex or the other genuinely has no appeal, then trying to force the issue would be sexual abuse.

If it were possible, my son would have learned to be bisexual already.
He was predominantly raised by two lesbians. (Myself and my partner) He has taken part in many theatre shows, loves the color pink, plays the cello, and has no problem putting on make-up for show.
To the contrary, he's straight. 100%, completely and thoroughly straight.
He has been taught that love is love and that all love is good. Regardless of gender.
He has been taught that hate is NOT a family value, that being compassionate and forgiving is key for making the world a better place for everyone.
He's still straight.

No, you can't teach someone to be bisexual. You could teach about bisexuality & even endorse it, but the person is going to have his/her sexual preference regardless. If the person had a tendency to be bisexual (and some research has indicated that a majority of people do have at least some bisexual tendency), your teaching might lead to a realization -but the person would have had that tendency anyway.

why on earth would you teach any child about their sexuality?
You teach children to be kind and accepting and when they are the right age you hope you instill a frame work of worth and value, to what will hopefully go on to be their healthy sex life.
You tell them about safe sex, and protection and birth control with a open caring mind, you don't choose a preference for them.
*EDIT/ADD ON*
this is what I posted to another question very similar to this one.
I think all children are influenced in some was by their parents......... their morals, ideals, work ethics, love for music, or books, or animals, a love for the water, a love for certain foods.......... but sexuality of the parents well I personally don't think so.......... what do i base that on?
well my parents loved classical music, so do I, we share very strong work ethics, many morals, and ideas, a love for art, books, and animals, and a strong sense of acceptance of others.
They also were very very very straight, and holy cow, their daughter so isn't, although my twin brother is.
wierd huh? :)

First why would you want to ? If someone is going to be straight and you are attracted to the opposite sex , then why would you want to teach them to like both ? I believe it is possible to teach someone to be anything if you brain wash them from birth but what would be the point ?

We are all born sexual beasts , it is society that sets rules . there are homosexual tribes in africa that the men perform sex acts as a ritual. You cant take the urge away but you can place one from the start. Sexual deviancy can be tought.

No. You can't change sexuality. You can't change it from birth, you can't change it at 15, you can't change it at 30, you can't change it at 60, you get the point. You can't indoctrinate someone into bisexuality. It's not possible.

No, you can't teach someone to be attracted physically and emotionally to someone they are not. You can raise your kids to be open-minded towards GBLT people, but you can't teach them to be one.
