I would have to choose Option A because the person's life may be hanging by a thread if I don't call for help. Option B is not a smart thing to do. If Option C is on my list, forget it. That's grounds for insurance fraud. I would get thrown in jail for doing something stupid like that.

If I were the only witness to a hit and run I would ...
A: Call an ambulance and help the victim, if the victim was badly injured.
B : Keep on walking, it's a busy road, someone else will come long soon if I was in labor and going to give birth at any minute...and I'd use the cell phone to call 911 for the injured party.
C: Lay in the road and pretend to be injured to claim compensation if I was dead broke and needed the money.

I would have to call an ambulance and help the victim because I am bound to do so by law. I am an EMT, and if I did not stop and help,...I would lose my liscense. Besides, it is the right thing to do and i don't want to be a bystander and potentially let someone die!

A. But i think your a bit late if you're waiting for answers to make this sort of decision, it's the kind of thing that needs an instant response, but go back and check that someone has helped the victim !

A of cousre
Anyone who walks away from a hit a run is nearly as guilty as the person who hit the victim. If the person were to die would you be able to live with yourself knowing you walked of and left them

A, of course the victim has already been abandoned once time is of essence at that point too so you are no worse than the runaway driver if you pass on by without aiding

I would choose A, but so wish I had the nerve to choose C! I think that is great, maybe lie near the real victim, and wink before going ooh it hurts! They may be bleeding to death but you can giggle all the way to the bank at your cheeky scam!

Surely you are bound by law (at least in the UK) to follow the steps given in option A.
