I know when I hear a really good song I get goose bumps on my face! I can feel them coming up on the sides of my cheeks! There are many brilliant songs that can do that and when I listen to them I have a "moment". There are also certain songs you have to listen to in the dark... lights off and really loud! My b/f never really gets what I mean by that! Quite often I find myself texting my best friend saying... Just had a moment to Purple Rain in the car... had to pull over! Now she understands what I mean LOL!

A certain combination of vocals or instruments erupt certain emotions from certain people. When you hear that song by queen, the sound is so exquisite and intense to you that it brings out emotions. It really is a spectacular concept

its the same as the way someone biting on a fork. it goes through most people but not all, most nerves respond to emotion and twitch
you probably feel warm around that type of music and that makes the nerves twitch causing the hairs on your neck to rub on the skin hope that helps

Music is one of the most emotive things around. Songs will always remind us of the times we used to here them. I think that is one of the special things about it. The more important the time, the more important the songs that remind you of it.

I think if you hear a certain song or tune it brings back something that you experienced when you heard the song the first time.
Happens to me all the time.

because either the music or the lyrics connect with you in a way you never thought something could... its like someone looked into your soul, and is singing about what they see... one song that does that for every time is jeff buckleys cover of hallelujah... gives me the chills everytime...
