The Cubs could win the division with or without Rodriguez. However, since Rodriguez has a no-trade clause and has clearly stated he has no intention of leaving the Yankees, I doubt he will ever play for the Cubs. And even if he did accept a trade to Chicago, adding a single player does not take a team from 96 losses to a division title.

If he's consistant he could help, but baseball being a team sport, 1 person alone can't influence how a whole team plays.

FORGET IT. THE CUBS HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER. CARLOS
ZAMBRANO IS THEIR ONLY GOOD PITCHER. ARAMIS RAMIREZ CAN OPT OUT OF HIS CONTRACT & BECOME A FREE AGANT SO THE YANKEES COULD SIGN HIM IF THE WANT. SO THE CUBS HAVE NOTHING TO REAALY TRADE FOR A-ROD.
