He has people go to his place often, usually just one at a time. What do you think of him and can one feel disturbed and bothered by the knocking on his door?? Will you feel bothered by it?

Someone knocked at his door after 12 midnight and he didn't open the door at all... I wonder what's going on and why would the person knock at his door so late?

I think it is proper for them to knock. How else will he know they are at the door? Should they yell instead?
Maybe he is selling drugs. That might be why they are there at all hours.
Of course you can "feel disturbed and bothered" but what are you going to do? There may be a good reason he has so many visitors. You should talk to your neighbor about it. Maybe he will be reasonable and work something out.

he is probably just trying to make a living dealing some drugs. I would knock on his door all the time lol.

perhaps there is a medical need that needs to be checked on.
Depending on who is showing up, if this is what keeps him happy, great.
