If clothes are in good shape, try a consignment shop.

I just got rid of a bunch of unwanted clothes today. I bagged them and put some of the less desireable clothes in the clothes drop box, and the others that were more fashionable I donated to the Salvation Army. Someone told me to do the Ebay thing but I really don't have time for all of that, and plus donating them is a nice thing to do, there is someone who can always use them.

If you are looking just to get rid of the clothes Good Will or a church take donations. If you want to sell them and earn extra cash, try selling on e-bay or even a consignment shop in your local area. It depends on how much time and effort you want to put into it. Either way, you get to free up space.

You could either sell your things on eBay (I've found in my experience it's harder to sell women's clothes for some reason?) or simply donate them to your local Goodwill or Salvation Army or Homeless Shelter or Battered Women's Shelter. The Battered Women's shelter would be one of my first choices, however...some of these women have fled an abusive home with just the clothes on their back...

Get a few girlfriends together and have an exchange your unwanted garments party.
Or you could have a yard sale.
Or you could sell it to a local consignment clothing store.

I made some good money selling my old clothes on ebay. You may not get a lot of money, but it's better than letting them rot in your closet.

Then donate the rest!

Dont feel pressured into changing for other people. Don't make it seem like you care alot and that you are insecure because i know for a fact that you are beautiful and you were beautiful before too! But being honked at and stared at does get quite uncomfortable and i understand why it does make you feel like that .. Just look at them like their crazy and show that your not interesting in the attention from them /

well, i usually keep those that would never go out of style.
i use the t-shirts [ tts if they're small] to cover my cushion pillows which i put on the sofa set. if not, i'll design my own clothin with it .if there's an overload of the clothes i'll either donate or put it up on ebay or yahoo auctions =)
