How come I feel unsucessful compared to my friends? I don't make good grades and I feel dumb sometimes. I dont use a lot of common sense and I make bad grades and I don't even know the simplest things in life...for example..I dont really know what a degree is or a bacheor degree is or anything grown-up????

Why? And how can I fix it?

You are probably spending too much time on the internet: Get out more, and listen, not talk. Read more: Serious newspapers, non-fiction books and good novels. You will both pick up general knowledge and get used to good English.
A degree is a pass certificate from a university course. A bachelor degree is for the basic three year course. Masters and Doctors have upgraded by further studies including much original work

I suggest that u should be paying more attention to things and less attention to drama or what ever goes on around you. Listen carefully, give eye contact, and stay focused on all important things. If you want to know what those degrees are...just ask...im sure there are people out there that don't know much about them, i know i don't, im a smart girl, but yet i have no idea what those degrees bring you and if they bring you to a higher level in life in a work force or not. i suggest pay more attention in school, do your work, hand it in on time.

Dont feel dumb or insecure at all. Maybe your friends are more intelligent than you, but it doesn't mean you don't have that common sense. Have you ever ask yourself what makes you different from, them?or something that you have that they love about you!!! Every individual has an own identiy. So, just go GIRL!!! boost yoursef confidence......God bless you!

Study harder and double-check all of your homework.

Think twice before you do anything just to make sure that you don't do something that you will regret later. You can always ask for advice.

You have two ears and one mouth so that you can listen twice as much as you talk. If you keep quiet, people will think that you are more intelligent.
And give yourself a break; you are smarter than you think you are.

How old are you? The best way to increase your knowledge is to read. Read everything you can get your hands on: news magazines, newspapers and especially books. Get a library card and start to check out books. Pay attention in class and take notes. If you need one, get a tutor. Ask your teacher for extra help. You can do it.

slow down and do the best you can. As long as you are trying your hardest and know you are not letting yourself down, you will be happy with yourself. dont worry about what other people are cause there are alot of people you dont want to be too.
