I was wondering if every honda accord v6 98-02 transmission is affected by the recall. Is it just certain models or all models.

The V6 accords do not really have any problems with their transmissions if the fluid is changed regularly. We usually see the problems with the 98-02 four cylinders.

Honda makes far superior manual transmission vehicles. My secondary car is a manual 2000 Accord Sedan EX (135K miles currently), which I purchased new back in 2000 and have never had any problems with it over the last 12 years. Great car. I hear nothing but woes from people who buy autos with automatic transmissions (of any make). They simply are not as durable, and require more repairs to maintain. Besides, manual transmissions are soooo much more fun to drive overall, and definitely more responsive.

hmm... sounds awfully efficient. How about something impractical, like say, a 1994 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo or a 1996 Mitsubishi 3000gt VR-4.

How draw the attention of the opposite sex & local authorities in a '98 accord? Perhaps forced induction and 19s would do the trick.
