What you need to do with this stain is use a solvent type product. Since you don't have the professional stuff try using orange glo or even 409. The most important thing to do is rinse the stain with a wet vac to remove all the reside, or the spot may come back.
If you have fingernail polish try acetate. Blot the chemical onto the spot and then remove with a towel and repeat, keep on doing this until stain is gone or you stop getting colour transfer. Then rinse the stain with a wet vac and water to remove all the reside,

First of all, I reccomend not rubbing your face on the carpet, but if you must, and you get mascara on it, I would reccommend using a product called "Goo Gone". I betcha looked real pretty up until ur makeup smudged though LOL. Good luck

Believe it or not - try Windex. Windex apparently removed just about anything from carpet. (That guy on "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" is starting to look like a genius.)
The guy at Lowes told us about this after we got Latex Paint in the carpet. It worked like a charm.

Hydrogen Peroxide. I spilled a gass of red wine on my light beige carpet just after we moved in. Poured HP on it, dabbed, left it. The next day I looked at it, gone, gone, gone. I use it now for everything... it even took out rust on a friends carpet. cheap, and it works... good luck.

Use baking Soda to dab out its grime, then use Carpet Resolver or Carpet ogygen. Don't use vinegar, because it color can create a dull color in carpet and smelly too.
