In a state where Bush captured over 60 percent of the vote in 2004, a revolution is taking place, with 9 Republicans running as Democrats in state elections. Its ripples may be spreading throughout the country.
For example, in South Carolina, Republican candidate Barnie Giese, has decided to become a Democrat. Even NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has switched teams.
Another prominent ex-Republican to run for office as a Democrat this year is Jim Webb, the nominee for Senate in Virginia.

I think it's a scam. The repubs are convinced that the democrats will get the vote so they're switching. I'm not absolutely sure they won't vote with just as much ignorance. In their defense, Ronny Raygun was a democrat and the head of the actor's union at one time, then he developed alzheimer's and became a republican. The current secretary of agriculture used to be a democrat, but there was already a democrat running for mayor in Lincoln Nebraska, so he switched. It happens everywhere you go.

It is because the child molester Republicans left a bad taste in their mouths and they scurried for some fresh demmy page boys. Ask your boy Foley and all the people that are just like him and covered for him. Kansas? Land of Dorothy a gay icon where all the Republican molestors ran out of fresh meat. South Carolina? Bible thumping fools that are running like spiders out of the wedding cake to diassocitate themselves from the pedophile preachers and politicians. Virginia? The main nest of pedophile trash running to fresh Democrat pages. The Republicans you refer to cut and ran from Clinton and are going back to their original party.

They probably realize that republicans aren't very popular right now and only democrats are going to win in the next election. That's not to say that it's right, but they want to have a job, so they do what they have to do.
