I am currently in a job that I am not really happy and not really fitting to it. The thing is that I might not find such a high paying job so soon. :o(

I've spent 6 years putting my husband through medical school. He is concerned about finding the hightest paying hospital to associate with in our area, and I tell him repeatedly... "It's better to take a lower paying job and be happy in it, than to be highly paid for a job you hate." So he's working in a small clinic as a 3rd partner for about a third of what he would make at a large hospital... and he's happy there. There is a lot to be said about liking yor job. Find your niche and be happy in it.

Can you live with less? If you can't, you will have to stick to this job and search for another equally high-paying job. There is no such thing as an ideal job, you have to work things out...

Yeah, thats true. You might not find another paying excellent pay. But what difference would it make if you spent all that extra money your making on doctor bills for being stressed the hell out!?! Money really means nothing. I've been well off, and dirt poor. My family bond was better being broke, and having prestige sucks cause then you gotta dress the part, and play the role. Be happy you only live life once, and unfortunately we can't pay admission to get into heaven. Nor can you take your money with you to hell so focus on having enough to live comfortably on and living your life to the fullest :)

Can you live on less? Being happy is the most important thing...life is too short to be unhappy in what you do. If you can cut your bills and take a better, low-paying job, that might be a good solution. Or, tough it out while you go to college or retrain for another profession. Most important is to have a good plan before you put in that 2 week notice.

Well you should look for another job that you would really like. Then when you find one you can quit. You could also try and find possible ways to make your current job better.
