good question. in the USA there was actually a president BEFORE geo washington. i cannot remember his name but I do know it is true. research this on the net
George Washington was a great indian killer and had a farm that was operated by black slaves. He used hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars as President to support slavowner farmers in Haiti to supress slave revolts.
