I think that kids usually take any kind of candy but a lot of them prefer any kind of chocolate product compared to just hard candy!
ex.
oh henry
mars bars
coffee crisps
m&m's
smarties
snickers (every1 luvvs it)
caramilk etc.
Kids also like people that are different. A lot of people use to like getting pop or coupons and things that they normally don't get. Be creative.
kids like candy that represents something, such as those gummie hamburger formed ones or whatever else is new.
Whatever you do just don't give those plain regular lolly pops because those are pretty boring but if u decide to give lollypops give the ones with gum inside.
Good luck, just make sure u hand out wut i told u because some kids r rude and egg houses or even the parking lots now; however, don't worry candy is candy!!!!!!!

My rule of thumb is give out a candy that you like to eat. I usually have a ton of candy left so I usually buy mini candy bars that way when I have some left, I like to eat it.

CHOCOLATE. Hands down. The crap that gets thrown away is always the stuff like Smarties and Dum Dum suckers. The Hershey's miniatures are usually long gone by then.

if you dont stop asking questions about candy and cookies your wife will have to bake me some cookies or buy me some candy cause i will be hitchiking soon..lol

Chocolate. And the newer cool types like Butterfinger crisp. Reese's cups are always good. And twizzlers are good cuz they are cheap so you can feel generous.

I like to make little bags. I put gum and Reese cups,butterfingers. I load them down. I even have bags for the little babies.
