This a movie made in the 90's.
I forgot who the actos were because I saw it a long time ago.
Anyways it is about a guy who robs a store or a gas station. He takes a girl hostage who is wearing green and has sort of blonde hair with a butterfinger instead of a gun. He leads the police on a chase through the country with the girl still in his possesion. the become close in the the car and in the end he leads the police in a circle and gives up. not alot of detail but it is hard to remember.

Charlie Sheen and Kristy Swanson
THE CHASE was the movie.
At the end, they tried to get to Mexican border, but (as always) they fell in love, she was the rich man's daughter.
They are broadcasted and interviewed in the middle of the chase.
Nice movie, a little "light" but is fun to see how they picture some people reactions to another of these chases in L.A,.
