Why do I store fat in my tummy first?

Question

Apple shaped, I know.. but anyone knows why?
My legs and arms are bigger when I put on weight, but the fat is in my belly. Is that a curse or is it better to have hourglass figures?

It took an expensive trainer to tell me this but:
#1: no fruit, sugar or complex carbs after 4pm
#2: a whole grain and protein in the morning (could be a cereal with protein or egg whites) but fuel yourself up for the day
#3: eat what ever the heck you want for lunch, it will give you energy to do stuff in the evening, not go home and crash on the couch.
Your tummy is the first place you put it on and the last place you take it off but life is simple. Stay away from the diet **** and BE HAPPY. Once your happy you'll forget about the rest of the rules. Took me years to realize this so I hope this helps!!!

Everyone is born with a set number of fat cells and they are located where they are located. In Men especially have them located in the abdomen. Women have more fat cells in the hips. When someone gains weight the individual fat cells increase in size. So whereever they happen to be is where you will get bigger when you store fat.

the reason why women store more fat in their bellies is because nature made it so that it would protect our babies when they are in development. same reason why we have an extra layer of fat than men, it it so that it will provide and protect our reproduction.

Is it because you're over 40? That can happen. I don't know if you are or not, just pointing out a possible reason.
