Yes, I'm slightly dyslexic. I have to reread sentences at least three times before I understand them, I'm extremely bad at directions, and I hate reading clocks. : (

I was diagnosed dyslexic when I was still in kindergaten (thank you Alaska school system). I've never truly had problems with reading nor spelling, the only way they caught it was when I would draw shapes. I would draw them perfectly backkwards. It does take a lot of work to overcome, and I remember spending hours writing the number 8, reading out loud, or practicing other writing exercises. I was once told by one of my special education teachers that a dyslexic person has to hear something 1000 times for he/she to comprehend the idea. I'll do some checking on the net to see if there's a support group for you and add it if I find one. Good luck!

Got it, and had it before they had a name for it. Its not a life ending thing, and you'll find you can look at problems in new and different ways than most people around you. Your far more visual than other people to. look it up, and check out all the famous dyslexic people out there.
O and " Thank god for spell check!"

Try using see-through colored sheets when you read... place the sheet over what you're reading. I've heard that yellow, red, or blue work best. It will help keep the letters stable, so your eyes don't flip them.
