Okay, now i'm kind of worried. I thought, (please excuse how stupid this sounds) but I actually thought that full time was 13 classes, thanks for all your help, but I do have one more question before I pick a best answer. I'm actually working right now (20 hours a week more or less extremely flexible job) and, well... I registered for four classes..... I really didn't realize what I was getting myself into. Anyway, I just want to know some opinions, would I be able to handle it?

Classes:

1.) Anth-103-60 (archaeology)
2.) Bus-200b-01 (business microsoft word)
3.) PS-102-62 (political science)
4.) PSYC-101-505 (psychology)

Most of the time if you take 12 credits or more then you are considered a full time student. Anything less is going to be part time. Same way that about 35 hours or more a week is going to be considered full time work.

I think it varies from college to college, however, most colleges consider full-time students as those who take more than 12 credit hours per semester. Anyone who registers for less than 12 credit hours is considered a part-time student. 12 credit hours is approximately 4 classes.

It probably depends on the college, but where I go you have to be taking 12 credit hours or more to be a full-time student. If you go below 12 you are then a part-time student.

Many colleges consider anything over 12 credit hours to be full time. Anything less is part time. I think it just depends on the school.

Full time students have a fully structured schedule and take at least 12 credits. Part time students don't really have a big schedule and have less than 12 credits.

It depends on the university. I would imagine anything less than 12 hours/semester is short of "full-time" status.
