Are you taking the pill or any other form of birt control? Your Dr. is gonna need to give you hormones to get you normal again.

Speaking from experience. Not having a period for up to 2 yrs after going off them is pretty common. Is that a good thing or bad thing? I have no idea. But the depro shot screwed up my cycle pretty bad. I wont ever use them again. Make sure you are seeing a gynecologist and not just a family doc, they may have some better answers for you.

Your lucky because: i got only one shot and i never got another one because i got depression from it, by body did not like the shot at all. I had a period for months straight, it really sucked
This was my first depression. i have never liked taking pills at all in my life but now I'm having to take Prozac and aprazolam for depression and sleep.
I hope that Ur body goes back to normal, that other lady is right u do need to go to Ur doctor so he can give u some hormones to fix this.Take care don't worry, and everything will turn out OK.

this is a common side effect of this type of birth control. it may take you a long time before you start your period again. no matter what dr you have, there isn't much they can do about it, you just have to wait it out. however, if your dr didn't even bother explaining the side effects of depro vera, you may wanna change docs.

I have heard about that before. I searched deop provera in Yahoo and I found lots of information about it. I just stopped recently and wanted to know if I would experience any side effects. I found out a lot of information I did know know while I was on the shot. If you haven't do so, I would recommend you search the web. Good Luck!

I would seriously suggest finding another doctor. Not a GP, but a good ob/gyn. I think if your doctor's won't give you a solid answer, it's time to give them one.
