It's possible that someone is sending out spam emails, using your email address. This would cause any bounced emails to go to you...

M aybe check with your email provider to see if they can fix it?

You've been hit by a Trojan that's using your ID to do mass mailing.

I'm guessing that you must be experiencing slow speeds since the worm is using up your bandwidth to mass mail Spam.

Do ctrl alt del. Click on the Processes tab. See if there's some process that you don't know which is using up a lot of CPU usage or Bandwidth. Do a Registry Edit to remove this thing.

If you don't know how to do these, then I'd suggest you get professional help, because these are rather delicate and dangerous places for an amateur to be bumbling around in.

All the best.

Cheers.

PS,

You might also want to alert your Bank and Credit Card Providers about this because the Hacker could be using this information to cause you loss. Identity theft is the aim of people like these.

Incidentally, the Spam must be emanating from your own machine, which is why you're getting the response; and why I'm advising you to look in your own machine first.

Sounds like your system by have been hijacked. If this is the case your pc has become a zombie for criminals who are using your pc to send out "spam".

You don't say what email service that you use, or what Microsoft platform that you have installed.

You can go to http://www.cyberhawk.com and download their "zero day attack". This is a free software and perhaps it will remove this unkown malware. Or atleast stop them in the future.

For your information I use this in my pc. Excellent free program to prevent zero day attacks. (Means attacks that may occur before your antivirus or antispyware programs update).

You can only use one antivirus software as you will have conflict with more then one. (You don't state what antivirus software you have in your pc).

If you don't have any download an excellent free program from:

http://www.avast.com They will require you to fill out a short form with your email address so they can send you their free key that is good for one year. After one year you must ask for a new free key. The corporate avast is the same as the free version, they just make corporate pay.

http://www.superantispyware.com Download thier free version which is excellent and will find spyware that all other antispyware program will miss. Scan all 175,000 objects in my pc.

http://www.ewido.net Download this program that is free. If you want to update all you will get for the paid version is autoupdates and a guard in the tray. I use the free version.

You can use atleast three or four antispyware programs without any conflict, being that I find that some will find spyware that is missed by others.

The above are the very best free program an I use them in my pc.

I use in my primary pc for my patients http://www.filseclab.com This antivirus software is used by the Government of China. I know for sure this program will rid you of the trojan that has hijacked your system.

The only problem is that you must pay a one time fee for life of $29.99. You get frequent updates automatic, excellent support and all new versions are free for life.

Details of this program is below:

Being a clinical psychiatrist I have a moral and legal obligation to keep my pc 100% clean from all virus/spyware/malware.

I tested every free and purchase antivirus system known. An I found only one that actually works 100%. Never had a virus or spyware in my system in nine years.

Go to, www.filseclab.com and download thier Twister AntiTrojan Virus program. (You will have to pay a small one time fee). You will never have to pay an annual fee for updates, support or new versions. The one time fee is for life. ($29.99)

The software company is located in Beijing, China. They have excellent support, frequent large signature updates an as always all new versions are free. No annual fee for anything.

Comes with a real time scanner that really works. Actually I am quite amazed over the nine years how well it works. Plus many other features that will repair all parts of your system from the icon in the tray.

Scans memory on startup.
Real time scanning in the background.
Open any webpage with an embedded trojan/spyware or malware and scanner will clean on the spot. An It is really removed from your system.

Download any kind of program from zips, all compressed files, software files, music, etc, etc, an if there is a hidden embedded trojan, spyware, malware, this program will stop the download and clean. An will advise you to end the download.

Will even find a virus in the installer wizard, like "Wise Installer". And will stop the installation while it is being installed and clean. Plus this program always will trace back who installed the trojan.

I had a trojan in and wizard installer. Twister caught the trojan and stopped the installation. I wrote the origianl company and told them the wizard installer had an embedded trojan to steal your data. The company now uses thier own installer.

You can't beat this software for a one time purchase fee only. Actually I don't know of any antivirus progam that even comes close to this state of the art technology.

All I can say it is worth the one time fee. Your pc cost alot of money and you don't want it destroyed. Plus your privacy is protected at all times.

There is nothing in it for me to praise this program. I tell it like it is. If it is garbage then I will say so.

If any of these programs find malware, please reboot your system after the malware has been cleaned.

Sincerely hope that above helps you as I really don't want you to have to reinstall your entire platform. Especially if you have Microsoft Windows platform.

Microsoft will validate your key again an atleast twice with every update or download. (Just today I installed the final IE7 and Microsoft validated my key upon removal of the beta 2 IE7 and performed a second validation of my key for the installation of IE7 final edition.

Good luck to you,

Clinical Psychiatrist, France
