While I disagree with many governmental policies, you hang the blame on Bush but fail to see that others create the problem too. The cabinet has an important function as well as the CIA, FBI, Homeland Security, the embassies of 200 nations, and others that advise him. I am not defending him as I think he is a fool, but place the blame totally on the people involved. Bush's information to make decisions is in the hands of others, and we have seen how the CIA muffed the WMDs, and then pushed the blame on the British. We watched how Chiang Kai Shek wormed his way into our pocket and bonded us with Taiwan because of good advice of FDR's and Truman's advisors. There is a great deal of push-pull in positions of power. Remember that everyone wants to justify his own position and show the need for himself, so don't blame one...blame the whole. Any foray into North Korea would be a mistake, as was sending Rice to Asia...Asia is still man's country! If we do anything without the agreement of China, then China must honor its own mutual protection treaties with North Korea and Russia and respond as the US would do in Taiwan and Japan. Do not fool yourself that we would win. China can mount an army of 300,000,000 soldiers (equal to the population of the US) and has weapons of similar technology...remember they did send an astronaut into global orbit and have many satellites, nuclear subs, and coupled with the Russians, we might all burn in hell together or watch as country after country is destroyed. Diplomacy is the only logical way to go, and Bush is spurning NK's offer of one on one...doesn't look cheerful.

By the phrasing of your question I am assuming you are American and therefore a mad hatter anyway. Mad hatter is my word for freak of nature. If you dont like what is happening within your government, do something about it. That is what your vote is for. I just thought I would explain that bit in case you didn't know. As far as North Korea is concerned, it is no more a threat than China and I don't see us waging war on China.

Associated Press - "Presidential spokesman Tony Snow said a suggestion to divide Iraq into Sunni, Shiite and Kurdish regions, each with high degrees of autonomy, was a “nonstarter.” Similarly, he said a phased withdrawal of American troops — perhaps by 5 percent every two months — also was a “nonstarter.”
The commission exploring alternatives hasn't even issued it's report yet.

Publish this in the New York Times and put it on TV on NBC, CBS, & ABC::::::Consider the following votes (all opposed by the vast majority of Americans):
On July 31, 1996, Pelosi voted against the historic Welfare Reform Bill and later voted against its reauthorization;
On July 19, 2006, Pelosi voted against protecting the right to say "one nation under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance;
On Sept. 20, 2006, Pelosi voted against requiring that voters be identified so we could ensure only legal citizens are voting;
On July 13, 2006, Pelosi voted against requiring English on ballots;
On June 30, 2005, Pelosi refused to side with homeowners against the Kelo decision
that allows cities to seize private property for profitable ventures,
even though 365 members voted to stop cities from taking private property.
Pelosi has voted at least 12 times against the death penalty;
Pelosi was one of only 67 House members to vote against the 1996
Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA);
Pelosi has voted at least eight times against banning partial-birth abortion,
at least three times against the Unborn Victims of Violence Act (Laci's law),
and scored a perfect 100 percent rating from NARAL Pro-Choice America;
Pelosi voted against a bill that would "[b]ar the transportation of a minor girl
across state lines to obtain an abortion without the consent of a parent, guardian or judge;"
Pelosi voted at least 31 times for using local or federal taxpayer dollars to fund abortions; and
Pelosi received an "F" rating from the National Rifle Association.
THIS IS SOMETHING LIKE YOU WANTED, ISN'T IT?

I can tell you what he won't be doing, and that is giving North Korea a hard time. Kim Jong Il might be a nutter, but he has played Bush at his own game... and evidentally won.

Habeas Corpus, R.I.P. (1215 - 2006)
With a smug stroke of his pen, President Bush is set to wipe out a safeguard against illegal imprisonment that has endured as a cornerstone of legal justice since the Magna Carta.
President Bush is fighting the same terrorist his father fought, Clinton and Regan fought.
Why does it cost more lives, more money and more of our freedoms to get the job done?!

That man, by his stupidity, would destroy the earth. He is thinking about another war in Iran (which he tried to start in Lebanon) and there is Korea. The man should be impeached.
