Yes it's a pretty good major, you can do lots of stuff with a major of business. Having great people skills will help you out alot in getting a job.

wow, I've been a business major for 5 years now (i'm a double major) and I have so many reasons why business is important!!!!
But i'm not gonna list them, i'm just going to flat out tell you that you will always have a job with business.
If money is changing hands, business is being conducted!! and if you want to increase your employment opportunities, get an accounting or Business Information Systems degree. Those are the most sought after people by employers.

Business is a great major! my sister has a degree in business and she always gets job offers.
they will want to hire you because when they look at your credentials, they will know that you know you are familiar with the business world.
beside getting a good job, you will have a better understand about business and how it works, it's very interesting!!

People will probably crucify me for this, but I think majoring in business is what a lot of people do when they don't know what else they want to do with their lives. A lot of times it seems like a very vague degree. There's a lot of classes in business management and theory in the hopes that you'll be able to put that into practice when you get your very own cubicle. Yeah, you'll probably get a job, but doing what? Unless business is something you are really passionate about, don't major in it. Find out what you LOVE and you'll figure out something to do with.

Business is a great major, BUT if you want to go anywhere in the field you should specialize in something.. like management, finance, ect..

Yes; you will obtain a job ... but a GOOD job? Well; that's up to YOU! You can study your *** off and pull off an "A" or party it up all the time and a "D" or "C" . CHOICES!!! Employers of great companies want great employees .
