Contact the attorney that helped you do the prenup in the first place.

If you have enough money that your husband would actually try to take it then surely you have enough to hire or rehire your lawyer.

You could always take all the money out of the bank and put it into an account with only your name on it. Then he'd have to sue you for spousal support or alimony and unless you cheated on him or he supported you while you were in school then most courts wouldn't award him anything.

If the signing of this prenuptial agreement was conducted or presided over by a duly accredited and legal representative then it is most likely legal and binding ,,,, At least if not everywhere then in the state you agreed to sign them in ,,,, And this situation may require you to seek a divorce in that same state ,,,,, I don't know where your line of thinking comes from where the state of Nevada is concerned ,,,, You didn't mention which state you got married in but off the top of my head ,,,, so to speak,,,, I don't think that maters ,,,, Obviously you are thinking that getting a divorce there might make a difference ,,,,, At any rate it is something that you need to check into ,,,, You could find a listing for most any lawyer in that state and inquire ,,,, but even at that there might be a need for a court proceedings to determine the legality's ,,,, On the practical side of this union ,,,,,, I would question why,,,,,, If this person says he loves you ,,,,,should he require a prenuptial agreement in the first place ,,,, Too many times it's I do until one of them doesn't want to anymore and that comes sometimes one or two or more children too late and they find out they weren't in love but in lust ,,,, And if a prenuptial agreement is required on his part as a condition of marriage then I would question his sincerity to begin with ,,,, It's like trying on a pair of shoes before he buys them ,,,,, So where you are concerned it's like he's willing to try you out with out him having to pay if he desides he doesn't want you any more ,,,, A very safe and comfortable bet for his side of this situation ,,,,,,, Any girl that has a guy that required this sort of agreement should be ready and willing to tell him to keep his money or what ever and then RUN not walk as far away from him as she can ,,,,But I'm pretty sure you are aware of that by now ,,,,, In a marriage it means total commitiment and prenuptial agreements nullify or place a shadow over that commitment and he's making a fool of any girl that agrees to this stipulation ,,,,, If he's not sure about what he should do where you are concerned then he's not totally comitted and should do nothing ,,,,, It's a curse of the rich I guess ,,,, but this prenuptial crap is like being able to have your cake and eating it too ,,,, He's obviously a Republican anyway ,,,, On the practical side,,,, It's a very foolish thing for any girl to agree to ,,,,, Not so much for the material things that are involved but the fact that such agreements puts a shadow over his emotional commitment to you no matter what he says or does to convince you otherwise,,,,, and guys can be very good actors too you know ,,,,, its not exclusively just a feminine trate ,,,,I don't know how you'll rate this answer ,,,,, I wasn't much help ,,,, But personally I hope you can find a way to nullify the agreement and take the jerk for ever penny he's got ,,,, He shouldn't be making commitments or partial commitments that he has no intentions of keeping ,,,,or not be willing to do what it takes to maintain a happy environment in the home so that his spouce doesn't feel the need to separate ,,,, Usually rich boys are normally selfish and self centered to begin with and are used to having their own way and aren't mature enough to be able to handle what it takes in a two person situation ,,,, It's his way or nothing or he finds a girlfriend or he's always right and everyone else is wrong ,,,,, H ell ,,,, the combinations are endless ,,,, Anyway look into every option available to you ,,,,, don't miss anything ,,,,,, there might be a small detail somewhere that could turn things in your favor ,,,,Wish you all the luck in the world for this ,,,,,,,,,,, Yoda said this ,,,,,

That is probably not completely true but the agreement might be limited.

NV is a community property state. This means basically that resources earned (not gifts) during the marriage are the property of both parties. In some states, community property rights cannot be waived via a prenup. If this is the case in NV, then you each get what you came into the marriage with and things that you individually obtained by means other than earning them. You would then split whatever you earned during the marriage.

This is my understanding but I am not a NV attorney so you need to check with one of them.

as quickly as I married my first husband, prenuptial agreements hadn't been used different than by way of the extremely wealthy. as quickly as I married my 2nd husband, there extremely did no longer look a prefer, we neither of had lots and specific by no skill might have lots. considering i do no longer fee cloth products to any great volume, and characteristic the aptitude to earn my own way, i do no longer prefer a protection settlement. despite the fact that if, no longer all people is like me. I decrease back all the presents my ex's parents gave us and permit him save the domicile. maximum persons in a divorce tend to get ridiculously venal, and there is not any reason to no longer have the protection of a prenup. in case you like your companion adequate to marry them, you ought to no longer be against giving them the protection of a prenup, that's merely an coverage to my ideas.
