There would be a chord with a tiny connector and a similar larger connector..

plug in the larger connector the the connection port in the computer with the same symbol as on the camera connector (you may find it in the front of ur pc)

a 'pop-up' notification should appear if you are using Windows XP... click on the option OPEN FOLDER TO VIEW FILES.. thats it!

ALTERNATIVELY you could buy a memory card reader to read the input directly from the card though you'll need to do the same with the card reader too.

Turn off your camera. You can use the cord provided. There is a slot in your camera to plug in the cord. It's usually has a cover. Then plug the other end into your computer's USB port.

Then turn on the camera. Your computer should be able to detect the new plugin. You will be asked if you would like to view the pictures.

Digital cameras are normally packed with a usb cable in which you connect the camera outlet into the computer's input. Once you plug the cable into both ports, and turn on the camera (usually to 'review') then your computer should be able to detect it and a pop up window will ask you what you'd like to do (i.e. transfer/download pictures, open with some kind of document, etc.). An introductory book should come with your camera so if my suggestion doesn't help, hopefully the booklet will.

The camera should have come with a usb cable. If you dont have one you should be able to get one they usually (but not always) use generic cords. You could also take the card out and put it in a media card adapter which will also connect to the
USB port.

With my digital camera, I can either use the card or use the cord that came with the camera. To use the memory card, you should have a memory card slot to put it in, if not you might have to get a cord.

Hook up the USB cord that your camera came with. it should look like a flat plug and on the other end a weird shape. plug in the flat side to the computer and the other side to the camera where it should say something like dc input. after you hooked that up you should hear a little noise on you computer (you might have to turn on your camera like mine) then open

*start - mycomputer - under your DVD or CD drives there should be something else (not sure what the name will be for your camera) - then open that drive-right click on folder and hold-now drag to your desktop and release - it should ask you if you want to copy/move/cancel just click move and it should move it right onto your desktop and thats it....hope you understand

I'm not sure exactly what kind of camera you have but i have a kodak digital camera and you have software that you install on your computer for your camera and after that is installed you hook your cable to your camera and computer and then click transfer pictures.
