i do believe that the o's have an outside shot to sign soriano. will the additional revenue from MASN Angelos has a good bit of extra money to play with now more than ever, and the growing discontent among the fleeting fanbase just makes signing a huge name like soriano a good idea for the o's. yes they need pitching but you already know zito is going to the yankees or mets, and theres not a whole lot of good pitching out there. they have a chance for moose who might become available, and don't forget about a tejada/teixeira trade...

Can he pitch?
I think there will be a number of teams after Soriano, mainly the LA Angels, possibly Seattle, maybe even the Mets. Soriano will have his pick, so you would think he would go to a team that is close to winning or a little more competitive than the Orioles. The Orioles hit very well, so I would expect them to go after a pitcher this winter, they need one badly.

the orioles have too many holes to fill. Pitching, bullpen help and develop a farm system. They most likely will not but they may sign barry zito and trade tejada

It kinda depends on what the front office is willing to do. There are MAJOR holes in the bullpen and we need a left fielder and a first baseman.
