1. It can't be glucose because it is a monosaccharide.
Sucrose is an example of a dissacharide

2. Thermal energy (Heat), i think.
Reactions can be exergonic or edergonic depending on the potential energies of the reactants and the products.
If Potential energies of Reactants are greater, then energy is lost as heat (exergonic)
If Potential energies of the Products are greater, then more energy must be added to create the products (endergonic)

3. I think the best answer would be plants. Animals and Insects depend mostly on aerobic metabolism. Bacteria can be aerobic or anaerobic.
