ok well if u want something that is kinda unique but not to out there jus take a costume that u like and add ur own twist to it. For example, my mom loves to be scary and out there for halloween. A few years ago she went and bought a really cute mermaid costume, but store bought costumes are not enough for my mom and since my step dad likes to fish she added a perfectly sensible twist. She dressed up in the mermaid costume with a hook in her mouth as she walked with my fisherman stepdad to make it look like he had caught a mermaid. If your not into the goory side of halloween. u can always make ur own based on a stor brand that u like but u kno that u made. I hope this helps. good luck
