Yup, in the water, outside of it . . . it makes dogs sick and throw up, some die . . . humans just get bad skin disorders, but usually live , I think.

It's not the living algae; it's when the algae starts to die, the bacteria that break it down use up the O2 in the water. That's where the problem of O2 depletion comes from - bacteria (rotifers).

it does not as in flowers. because they are nonvascular plants they reproduce by spores(itty bitty opeanings that pour out little seeds)
