The Grand Lux on Westheimer by Post Oak. Very Nice and Romantic. If you like pizza, they have the best thin crust pizza, I think it is in the appetizer part of the menu, but it is enough for one, and I think it is under $10. If you decide to spend big, almost anything you order is going to be great. This is one place where you don't have to sacrifice good food for atmosphere. Cheesecake factory is also good (Galleria, Woodlands, and a few more locations)

My husband and I got married at Baroque Restaurant on Sunset. It is near Rice University. It is really beautiful, although it is very expensive; there is not a more romantic place in Houston.

Le Colombe d' Or is wonderful too. It is on Montrose.

I once had a fantastically romantic dinner at Fuad's.

Also, I am very fond of Carmelo's as well.

There are several around Galveston Bay that Come to mind. Salt Grass Steakhouse in Kemah is 1 of my favorites.. I like a little place in Bacliff, called Noahs Ark. A little motorcycle hangout with really Good Food, really Cold Beer, and its right on the water.
